Stop motion animation

Cut out animation

This is cut out  action animation, my role here was to direct this piece to make it humorous and more interesting. We achieved this by by applying the principle of secondary animation. This means that when an object moves all the other objects move along with it which we managed to apply effectively. This worked well because it flowed very effectively because the arm's and legs moved without a problem.

Things could have been improved if we had taken more shot's in order to add more detail and making the narrative flow better and be more interesting as overall the piece seemed quite short and at points boring since the objects moved in short motions.

 Small objects

This is small objects animation  my role here was to postion the object's in the correct order to make it flow better. This was useful because it would make more sense and genuinely look more professional. We achieved this by taking many small picture's in order to make the small object's move. We also gave the piece an interesting narrative to make the video overall more enjoyable. We could have improved on this by making the video overall longer to demonstrate the point better.
Sand

This is called sand animation my role was to direct we manipulated the sand in order to make it move this was useful as the shot's we took as well as the editing really bonded the piece together by doing this as well as also combining plenty of different shot's we create the illusion that the sand was moving. To improve this we could have again added more to demonstrate the principal's

Pixelation
This technique is called Pixelation, my role here was to direct the people in the shot and to make sure the correct shots were used at the correct time. Using frame by frame shots and burst mode  we managed to achieve the effect of the people by using a range of photographs to give the illusion that the people were moving we achieved this by using the burst mode setting on the camera. We could  have improved this by perhaps making the two people levitating the person do a bit more to make the film more interesting for our audience.

Claymation
This technique is called Claymation this is where made puppets out of 'Play dough' and then animated it using frame by frame shots. My role here was to postion the puppets in the correct order so that it would flow better. To improve this we could have used the camera better by checking that each image was in focus and taking more time when setting up the shot and taking the photo's.
